WHAT IS ALUMINUM EXTRUSION ENCLOSURE

How the Extrusion material process ?
 

Aluminum profile production mainly includes melting and casting, extrusion and surface treatment (coloring mainly includes: oxidation, electrophoretic coating, fluorocarbon spraying, powder spraying, wood grain transfer printing) three processes.

 

1. Melting and casting is the first step in the production of aluminum profiles. The main processes are:

 

(1) ingredients: according to the specific alloy grades produced, calculate the amount of various alloy ingredients added, reasonable collocation of various raw materials.

 

(2) melting: according to the technical requirements, the raw materials are added into the melting furnace to melt, and the impurities and gases are effectively removed by degassing and slag removal refining.

 

(3) casting: the molten aluminum is cooled and cast into a variety of round bars by deep well casting system under certain casting conditions.




2.Extrusion:
extrusion is the means of forming aluminum profiles. Firstly, according to the section of the product, the mould is designed and manufactured, and the heated round cast bar is extruded from the mould by extrusion machine (the mould, the extruder and the round cast bar all need heating) . The 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, which is commonly used by Pumay nonferrous, has an air-cooling quenching process during extrusion and the following man-hour and effect process to complete heat treatment strengthening. Different grades of heat-treatable strengthened alloys have different heat-treatment systems.




 

3. Surface Treatment (in this case, oxidation)

 

Oxidation: extruded aluminum alloy profile, commonly known as the substrate, its surface corrosion resistance is not strong, must be through anodizing surface treatment to increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance of aluminum. The main processes are:

 

(1) surface pretreatment: the surface of profiles is cleaned by chemical or physical methods, and the pure matrix is exposed, so as to obtain complete and dense artificial oxide film. A specular or matte (Matt) surface may also be obtained by mechanical means.

 

(2) anodizing: under certain technological conditions, a dense, porous and strong adsorptive alumina film is formed on the surface of the pre-treated profiles.

 

(3) sealing: the pores of the porous oxide film formed after anodic oxidation are sealed to enhance the anti-fouling, anti-corrosion and wear resistance of the oxide film. The oxide film is colorless and transparent. By using the strong adsorption of the oxide film before sealing the hole, some metal salts can be adsorbed and deposited in the hole of the film, such as: Black, bronze, gold and stainless steel, etc. .



 

4. Oxidation line
The sealed aluminum profile can be packed after washing and drying. Aluminum profiles are usually packed in non-woven
and Kraft Paper. After the completion of packaging also need to be sawed according to customer requirements into a certain length before storage. The sawing length of general industrial aluminum profiles is 4.2 meters.
